I guess your thinking why kikyo eh? Well I like kikyo because.. She's not as weak as kagome if you understand. And she's better looking than kagome in my opinion.

Kikyo is a high preistess and guards the shikon jewel then she was in love with inuyasha till naraku tricked kikyo into shooting inuyasha with a arrow therefore pinning him up to the tree when she made it to the tree she then died giving the shikon jewel to her little sis kaide ( can't spell it!) and telling her to burn it with her body.
